Line-up Problems????

Would you guys drop anyone on my roster for some names like Biggio, Koskie, Blake, Lyons, Roberts??? Does anyone think Boone will pan out (he is batting 6th, Koskie is batting clean-up), or should I move players around?? Plus I cannot figure out what to do with all of my OF's? Who should I start, bench, trade, or pick up on WW (anyone from above). Does anyone know if there is a sleeper C out there that can play another position??

if Brandon Lyon is available you need to pick him up as you only have one closer. I'm assuming your league doesn't count holds so Rincon is probably the guy to drop for him although you've only mentioned 19 roster spots. You may have another bench spot or two to choose from instead. Brian Roberts would also be a decent pick up for you. Great source of runs at the top of the O's lineup.

As for your OF's. Trot Nixon will only play against righties so you need to move him out of your lineup when the Sox face a leftie starter and slot Feliz or Lawton in there.

A sleeper catcher with multi position eleigibility is Inge although he's probably gone already.

And Boone is probably not a great guy to depend on at 3B all season.

I would definately pick up an extra third baseman. I have boone on my team, but it's risky because he didn't play last year and appears to be a little rusty. Koskie's not a bad option, He's not gonna win any categories for you but he won't hurt you either.

Your pretty weak in RP too, you need to pick another closer up

who would you drop once berkman is off the DL??

Rincon is good to keep the era down and posts some K's and gets a win every once in a while.

My starting OF when Berkman gets back will be, Beltran, Berkman, and ?????. Pedro Felix is my rotation guy (1b,3b,of) until boone can find the ball in ceveland. So getting rid of some of my outfield is the only way to pick up some RP's, or just getting rid of boone is a possibility, he does bat 6th in the lineup. Is boone really going to heat up??? That leaves me with Lawton, Nixon, Winn, and Hunter. The only problem is that each one gives me some good stats.


Pro's and Con's of each:

Boone: New guy in town, injury problems, bottom of the lineup, but a possibly potent one

Nixon: Batting Average, top of the lineup, power around him when he plays

Lawton SB, some HR, top of the lineup, plays for the pirates

Winn: SB, bottom of the lineup

Hunter: HR, SB, middle of the lineup

So who would you get rid of?????? And is Lyons really worth the chance?? Who else could be available in a 13 man for a closer??
