Wickman keeps the job. Do the Yankees replace Rivera because he has blown two saves already? Flouke blew one yesterday. Does he get replaced? Answer. NO. Relax. If he struggles a few more times then there is reason to be concerned. And I think its Howry.

When was the closers thread last updated? Still think IF Wickman falters or gets injured in Howry

Wickman keeps the job...but i don't think he'll keep it for long, because he's certainly likely to blow plenty of saves...he's old AND bad at pitching; i'm just wondering which of the other guys will end up taking, and hopefully holding, the job

Wickman is also fat and horrible in my opinion. I gave him a chance, I watched him yesterday and he showed me nothing. He won't reproduce his 2001 numbers, the guy is horrible. He put up an ERA of 108... almost the number of pounds the guy is overweight.

Man...I sure hope this isn't what we'll be subjected to again this year. It just killed me to watch the bullpen implode on what seemed like every night to lose yet ANOTHER game.
I wonder how Dotel would look in a Tribe uni?
