Well most foreign players learned english while being adults so its quite understandable that they dont handle grammar so well.

I can't believe some of you are still arguing that it's correct grammar. That's pretty scary.

The only reason this post has rambled on so long is that agchrist02 was bashing a player's intelligence and proceeded to display to everyone here that he himself is not intelligent.

It's called irony... and it's pretty funny.

I have Vazquez, and I have absolutely no confidence at all in him. His 6.66 ERA this spring had me questioning whether or not to even start him this week. (We have weekly line-up changes)

I'm sorry I did. He alone will probably cost me ERA and WHIP.

The Vazquez tipping problem isn't not a easy thing to put back right. If he didn't just not have his curve, his owners better just not decide to start him and just leave him on their bench. :-°

Do you guys think that Vazquez can right himself? I know his owner in my league is very low on him, and was talking about tradng him. I could grab him for really cheap. He was a solid pitching with the expos, I always thought he just wore down in the second half. Even if he can correct his problems, he's still on the D'Backs in the BOB, so i'm not sure how much value he has.

Unless there are better bargains on the waiver wire or available in a trade, Vazquez owners should probably just bench Vazquez until he comes around...IF he comes around.

The grammar part of this thread was ridiculously funny :-]

He is not JUST not intelligent....

Sorry, couldn't resist. This thread is hysterical. I've been ignoring it for the last couple of days due to depression over having Javy on my team. I'm glad I finally read it.

I've put in a waiver claim on Javy... i figure that carrying him is better than carrying some replacement level bench player. I'm not starting him until he has at least one good outing though.

Is it possible to feel your IQ drop while you read something?

:-?

If so, that definitely happened to me while I read this.

Entirely compelling prose nonetheless.

mmmmmmm, quite compelling indeed good sir. It is my contention that the prose was genuinely compelling. Not meaning to be ostentatious, as a matter of fact I'm being quite facetious.
