A Cubs player told me "Javier Vazquez didn’t just have no curve, he might as well have put what was coming on the Jumbotron." That’s actually good news since it’s correctable
Actually, this is how I see it...
CAPS mean emphasis, [square brackets] are assumed words that are left out.
"Javy didn't JUST have no curve today, he [was also tipping his pitches so we knew what was coming]."
So in essense, he had no curve today, but not JUST that alone was not the problem, as he was also tipping his pitches.
