Triple-A Tacoma's Jose Lopez has a broken hamate bone and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Surgery is scheduled for later this week. Broken hamate bones don't typically turn into long-term problems, but Lopez probably won't show much in the way of power immediately after returning

yea kinda of sucks... i thought he was going to be a real good sleeper this year due to the pokey signing..... but this type of injury can hold him back most of the year.......
