Normally this wouldn't be big news as everybody would have time to notice him and make a waiver claim... but he went straight to FA, just like the rest of the new additions. In half my leagues, it was like that, and half he went on waivers. All of the leagues have a waivers system though so it looks like Yahoo screwed up. I got him in a league that allows players with less than 80 relief appearances or 35 Games Started to be kept for free, so I have Street locked up for 2 years guaranteed, for free
Just a heads up to you guys in keeper/dynasty leagues who don't allow players to be owned until they're in Yahoo
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
I noticed this too, and it must be corrected. An owner picked him up already. I will correct the problem manually if I have to. <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>
I'm in a dynasty league where we carry over our whole team year to year...I have #2 priority and I definitely want to save it for a hot rook...is Street worth it or should I save it and hope someone like Delmon or Marte or Felix gets added later this year?
anyone have any thoughts as to whether he might be a better risk/ reward option than Mike Adams? I have Adams as a 3rd Closer on one of my teams, I just picked him up really to hoard a guy and spot use him after Batista has gone a couple of days in a row as I alsohave KRod. We do use holds so, if Street were going to be a solid MR, I'd dump Adams and pick him up as I'm not confident Adams will stay 'the man' for too long...
