Doesn't really make any difference. Someone could still join and show all the questions to a friend. We'll just have to accept the fact the the game isn't 100% safe against cheating. On the other hand, we set up a couple of invisible tripwires, and the threat that we will ruthlessly ban anyone who we catch should work (I hope). Last but not least, we'll do an extra check on the season winner, and since the game prize isn't a house/yacht/ferrari, I hope the overall incentive for cheating isn't that big.
I think people should answer their own questions. The answer wont show until someone has already answered and then people can see if they got it right. Would prevent Menyak from having to change the programming.
Also...you should make it so you can not reply to the PM you get with the question. I have accidently hit reply to the PM instead of going into the thread first and hit reply there. I have done it twice by accident because I was going so fast and someone has done it to questions I have posted.

I've done that once and was in the middle of posting my answer a couple times when I realized I was replying to the PM again

I thought of that, but I'm not 100% sure if that would would be an improvement. Maybe not having final proof until the week is over adds to the excitement.

I will, but I'm afraid it will still take me at least 2 weeks to do it. Sorry about that - if the situation becomes unbearable, don't forget that you can also unsubscribe again. The season is long enough that you could probably still catch up.
Would anyone like to reduce the time period for questions to be answered? It seems like a week is a long time to wait to see who gets a question right...most of us reply within a day or two from when the message is sent. Maybe a three day period would be sufficient?
