ouch! just traded glaus for him (have chavez at 3rd), and I haven't even had a chance to get him on my roster yet (trade went through today).
Time to see if I can get Vidro for Clement

or maybe just pickup Michael Young as a temporary fill-in

Bummer. I tried to acquire him a couple weeks ago.
I think it might take a little longer then Giles return. A bad ankle sprain can often be worse than a break.
If he is out 4-6 weeks, I wouldn't trade Clement for Vidro, there should be a serviceable option available in a 12 team league.Giles Hairston, Young are certainly decent options. Phillips will be good for games played and that's about it.

Rotoworld's take is positive:
Ray Durham left tonight's game in the fifth inning with an ankle injury.
Durham was on the ground for several minutes before being helped off the field. It looks like he's going to miss some games, which means it's Neifi time in San Francisco.
Ray Durham is listed as day-to-day with a sprained right ankle.
Durham still seems likely to miss at least a couple of games. Neifi Perez will start at second base tomorrow.

How could you not trade Clement for Vidro? I may have done that deal even if I still had Durham and then try to trade one of them. Vidro is a much better player than Clement.

What I'm saying is that losing Durham for 3-4 weeks does not 'force' you into trading Clement for Vidro. I wouldn't trade away one of my top SP for a replacement 2B for 3 weeks.
Durham owners will be better off picking up a waiver replacement than trading their SP's away for a short term replacement.

As expected, Giants’ second baseman Ray Durham was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a sprained right ankle. Trainer Stan Conte estimates he could miss three-to-four weeks. Durham left Saturday's game against the Braves in the fifth inning after injuring the ankle while sliding into third base. Infielder Cody Ransom was called up from Triple-A Fresno to take Durham’s place on the active roster.
Our View
Neifi Perez replaces Durham at second base, but will in no way make up for Durham’s bat. Short of making a trade, fantasy players are going to have a hard time finding a middle infielder for the next month that puts together the all-around numbers Durham does.
Thats from fanball. They are saying 3-4 weeks.
Im not an expert but I have an opinion
