Watching TBS, it really looks like Durham either broke or seriously sprained his ankle sliding into third.

Yeah, it was pretty ugly. Even uglier is who I'll have to play at second now -- Brandon Phillips

And 2B gets even more scarce for fantasy purposes.

He is being X-rayed right now and at the very least he has a severe sprain that would keep him out at least a month. But, the injury looks really gruesome on the replay and I can't see how it isn't broken.

According to TBS, X-rays are negative and he has just a severe sprain.

Go get Jerry Hairston Jr. or Marucs Giles if you can. I'm gonna try to deal Hairston (I have Kent) to the unlucky owner. Also gonna pick him up in another league and try it. Is it just me or are there WAY more injuries to key fantasy players this year?

I guess that's somewhat good news. What's the minimum DL time for an ankle sprain?

If an ankle sprain is anything similar to a knee sprain, it would be similar to the injury Brian Giles had that knocked him out for 3 weeks. If he goes on the DL, he has to be out at least 15 days. The problem is that Durham's main value comes from his speed and steals so he likely will be restricted even when he comes back.

I just picked up Eric Young faster than a Rivera fastball.
