Apr 5 Blue Jays closer Miguel Batista threw 1 1/3 innings of relief on Monday to pick up his first save of the young season. He threw 13 pitches and allowed one hit in Toronto's 5-2 win over the Devil Rays.
Views: There was some question this spring about which role the Jays would use Batista in, starter or closer? They settled on closer and he looked fine in that role on Monday. It's early in the season, but we're confident that he is one of the top 15 fantasy relievers the AL has to offer at this point.

How many teams are there in the AL again?

(Yeah, I'm sure they didn't just mean closers, but that's the first thing that entered my mind )
