I think you can upgrade your third outfielder to someone better than Hunter. And I think your bullpen needs a lot of help. Aquino's not closing anymore, Looper will be inconsistent, and Tsao's hurt.

So maybe Hunter + Blalock for a decent outfielder. And Boone + Looper for a stud (or semi-stud) reliever. Then I'd drop Aquino, and try to pick up another middle infielder off waivers (since I'm not totally sold on Utley). Maybe a Julio Lugo type; whatever's available.

At which point your team should be a pretty solid contender, especially with your starting pitchers.

Yep, Aquino and Looper, get rid of them

Looper may be inconsistent, but I think he'll have better numbers this year if only because he is going to have more oportunities (the mets are a better team this year). I would look at adding another reliever, but I'd look to the waiver wire - in a 9 team league there has to be someone, Batista? Adams? Affeldt? - look at adding 1 or 2 of those guys. Now in a 9 team league I don't think you'll get much for Boone, but make Hunter your 4th OF and look to move Blalock for a decent OF.

Well, of course Looper's better than having no one at all, but if you can upgrade that second reliever slot, why not go for it?

Unfortunately, in my league no one seems to like to trade much.
