so far this season i guess im winning.
Ill still trade you grienke for vazquez -- i watch him and, despite what others in this forum have said, the vast majority of his pitches were strikes
from rotoworld:
Javier Vazquez thinks he may have been tipping his pitches against the Cubs yesterday.
Well, that would explain why he couldn't get anyone out. ''They hit everything hard, and when you're throwing 94 and you have good off-speed pitches, it's tough to figure out,'' Vazquez said. ''I'm going to have to look at some tapes. I'm speechless, man, because I had really good stuff today.'' Vazquez's fantasy owners can only hope.
He wasnt the only one, in a post game interview their pitching coach thinks he was tipping them as well and that he was throwing better than he had all spring (that may be just shoring up his confidence), but Ill never write off a pitcher because of one or two bad starts
Im guessing you were one of the people who waived santana in the first half last year, allowing me to pick him up in week 2, and laugh all the way to a league title
grienke is overrated
