I could care less about looper, i dont like him, he's not a good closer and I dont own him in any leauge, BUT I do have pedro, and W's matter, sigh, I was saying worse things willie
I am laughing at the temporary scoring issues though, where a certain person in my league is being credited with a BS and loss

what do you mean by temporary scoring issues? if a pitcher comes into the game in a save situation and then loses the game, he will get a loss and a blown save.

That's right. BS is not an official statistic. You can get a BS and an L so it's not a temporary scoring issue.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
One blown save and people are already talking about replacing him? Guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I do find it funny.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
It is pretty funny. Looper will be fine. A solid middle of the road closer.
The Mets setup/middle relief is pretty crummy and if they are looking to add another reliever it is because of that not because of Looper. Of source that could result in a job switch should Urbina come over and Looper struggle early on.
Doubt Urbina is going to the Mets as Detroit can pretty much wait that one out for a couple of months and the price is pretty high. And the Mets were unwilling to send another top pitching prospect to TB for Baez from reports, so there does not seem to be much threat to Looper's job for the time being at least.

Pedro may have a similar season to Randy J's last year. (without the no hitter) I bet the GM of the Mets is looking at Urbina again. They spent too much money in the off season to have games end like it did yesterday.
While I dont think Looper will lose his job anytime soon, I do think openning day highlighted the Mets biggest weakness.
For all the money they spent making this a respectable team with high hopes, why didnt they address the bullpen? I seriously dont know, and would really like Amazinz, DK, or any of the other Met faithful here to address this issue in detail.
What has Minyana said about it? I know Looper has the job and probably wont lose it, but what about the rest of the pen - I couldnt name another person in it other than Looper. Who do the Mets have and is there any talent we dont know about - what about recent trade rumors?
Whats the local word?
