I'm picking up A. Burnett off waivers and dropping J. Lackey. I figured this to be a no brainer...

I really don't feel to good about D. McPherson (seeing as he was just sent down) and J. Valentin (He batted like .216?)

What should I improve on? I was going to let M. Lawton go and pickup G. Anderson but he always gets hurt and Lawton is a 20/20 threat who could bat .270...

Not too bad. I think you could try and improve in the RP. You have only one good closer in Lidge and Houston will struggle to win this year. I would put Guerro and Cabrera in your starting lineup.

they are benched because they dont play today. players on bench dont earn points right?

Your RP isn't too bad. Lidge will serve you quite well, and Cordero should have a decent year. Remember, the 'Spos weren't all that bad last year CONSIDERING the fact that they travelled through hell and Kansas all season. Now that they have a home I'm betting a lot of their players will improve, which should help Cord. Still, if you can get a Benitez or KRod, you might as well try.

what about valentin.....his low average scares me, jack wilson is the next best player on waivers.
