Is Borowski worth a #1 ww position? 14-team FP league

He was just waived. Do I waste my #1 position on him?

Considering you don't have a single closer with a secure job, and it's a 14 team league...I think you have to.

No imo. He is not likely to make a difference to your squad even if he closes, he is out until May and he may not even get a chance to close when back. I would not burn a #1 on him.

absolutely not. Your #1 WW priority is more valuable than an Borowski - by a lot. Be patient, someone will mess up.

let him take borowski off FA list instead of using his WW position - thats the argument.

If someone uses their WW priority, thats fine - if nothing else, this past week shows us how tentative many closers' jobs are right now - another will come along shortly.

I'd pass on Borowski with the #1 waiver. Look at all the closer changes that were made last season. It's bound to happen again. If it was later in the season, maybe, but certainly not now.

I'd say this is Mike Adams who is the closer (for the time being) for Milwaukee.

If it's a points league you don't need a closer. So don't waste your #1 waiver on the bum.
