I;m not in one.. but i was wondering, what happens if a players traded out of that leauge and hes on your roster?

You'd be out of luck.

Brings down the value of players who are being shopped, or who will be free agents in the upcoming year (keepers).

In my NL-only league, players that are traded to the AL (and their corresponding stats) are retained by their teams until the end of the season. So you're not completely screwed if one of your players is traded.
