So I have no one to blame but myself for picking up Bonds in the second round, but I think I made up for it with a solid middle part of the draft and some good waiver wire moves. This team is for a 12 team Yahoo head-to-head scoring league. Once I get Bonds and Berkman back, I'll have some decent pop, but until then there are some question marks. Suggestions? What do you think my chances are to make the top six in my league (which is what I need to make the playoffs, after which Bonds should be--hopefully--back in usual form to give me that extra push)?

C- Jason Kendall
1B- Jason Morneau
2B- Jose Vidro
3B- Eric Chavez
SS- Jimmy Rollins
OF- Adam Dunn
OF- Shawn Green
OF- Preston Wilson
Util- Eric Byrnes
BN- Barry Bonds (DL)
BN- Lance Berkman (DL)
BN- Lew Ford (OF)
BN- Julio Lugo (SS/2B)

SP- Johan Santana
SP- Brad Radke
RP- Mariano Rivera
RP- Guillermo Mota
P- Odalis Perez
P- Freddy Garcia
BN- Jeff Weaver
BN- Brad Penny (DL)
BN- Latroy Hawkins

I like your team alot actually, there seems to be no real weakness... I'd say try to trade for another good OFer and you'll be good to go.

Thanks for the input. I'd like to shore up my outfield, but I don't know who I'd be able to trade, at least not until I get some folks off the DL. I'd love to package, say, Morneau and Berkman to get Hideki Matsui, but I don't think anyone's going to bite at that deal. Any ideas?

Also, any thoughts on which outfielders I should start, between Byrnes, Wilson, and Ford (probably two out of the three)? In my league I can change the lineups daily, so I can try to activate whoever's on the bench when the starter has the day off too.

I'll take that as a compliment, JDD, since you don't seem to hold back when you think a team is crap.

I'd do that, and I'd just play who's hot; I see Wilson having a good year, so if I had to pick two--Wilson and Ford, likely.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.
