Is this guy worth picking up..what are some projections?

Not going to be a factor in my opinion. Except for a few steals I expect Burke to end up playing 2b and Biggio going back to the OF. Not to mention once Berkman comes back expect Tavarez to be reassigned back to AAA

If you are in a fairly deep league he might be worthy of an April FA pickup. Could steal you some bases early on that could make a difference down the stretch.

I picked him up and he's slated in the OF as well as leadoff. I think he's worth a look see.

he will play berkman will go to right when he comes back, lane to left, as long as he hits he should be fine.

He is a Dave Roberts singles hitter type

As long as he makes contact with the ball, this kid is going to steal more often than Winona Ryder - guarenteed. Even if he gets a fraction of his minor league numbers due to the majors move, you're still looking at 30+ stolen bases...in his sleep.

I have to disagree with you here. When Berkman comes back, Luke Scott and not Willy Taveras should be heading back to the minors. I mean, c'mon, Luke Scott hasn't played above A ball for crying out loud. One good spring doesn't make a major leaguer...just ask Butch Huskey.
