Wow! the only thing I would worry about is Reyes getting hurt. Do you have a backup for him at 2nd??

Yeah, that's a very good team and should be top two.

Solid hitting, but for a 9 team league your pitching is thin and will cost you any chance of actually winning the league. You don't have one proven vet who you know can win 18-20 games and throw 250 IP and 225-250 K's. Also you WHIP will suffer as most of your pitchers tend to walk a ton of batters. I think for a 9 team league this team finishes in the middle of the pack 4th-6th.
Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint.

You could finish in the lower third of your league because you did three things... three very very bad things...

1. Don't assume that just because you draft all the bad closers they add up to one great closer.

2. Bonds good, Prior good, Bonds and Prior is just asking for one to go down because of injuries (how are they looking so far?)

3. It is always a good idea to draft good young players, but it is a smart idea to mix in a veteran or three who have a track record... but you may be ok here because in such a small league, those guys may still be on the waiver wire.

Good Luck to you

I iwll pray for your SP:

Prior - who knows for sure
Hudson - his own hip issue, plus check out the K/9 rate last 4 yrs
Ol. Perez - throws awful hard & LOTS of innings - ticking, ticking
Burnett - here's hoping no blisters

If you can get past all 4 of these issues, you may make out well, but it will be tough to "win" on all 4 of these..

:-o :-o
Take two and hit to right

Looks like a pretty good team right now. But your rotation could fall apart at any moment and at least one of your closers probably won't keep his job all season.
