According to ESPNews, Alex Sanchez has been suspended 10 games for steroid use.
Alex Sanchez? Not exactly our pick for the first player to be busted. The Rays kept Chris Singleton as Sanchez's backup, but they should call up Joey Gathright to play center field for the first 10 games. An alternative would be to shift Carl Crawford back to center and play Michael Restovich. As for Sanchez, he might not be welcomed back with open arms after returning. At the very least, he should be on a short leash if he's not released outright. Apr. 3 - 4:20 pm et
What a joke...a 10 game suspension. This should be the first of many suspensions during the coming season. I figure it will only get worse since the penalty is so weak!
