Year 1 is beginning with 9 countries represented and 10 competitors. Next season we will set our goals at 14 countries. Many of the individual Regional and State feeder tournaments went off with up to 18 teams, so the competition will be fierce.
Overall we ended up with close to 175 people all playing towards one thing.
While I realize it is a long season, I would love to get some of your thoughts on the series itself, and who in your opinion, is the early favorite for the title.
Here are the opening day rosters for the 1st Annual H2H World Series.

Mookies got some nice bats. I also like his 1-2 punch of Unit and Ollie. I think Smoltz will fall apart though. Looks like a well balanced team.
Still the team I would fear the most on a H2H basis would be the Lo-Riders. That is the scariest rotation I've seen in a long time. He has a stable of HORSES; Santana, Pedro, Sheets, Halladay, Livan and Prior!
The cheap saves are nice but he still needs some MRPs. Those can be plucked from the WW during the season though.

You're right not too shabby. However it doesn't invoke fear.
Schmidt and Peavy and good 1-2. The rest remain to be seen.
Looks like you did the right thing and insure Gagne with Brazoban. Still, Gagne on the DL bites a major chunk out of your pen.
