I was offered a trade of cabrera for wright and I countered with LoDuca for Reyes.

What are the odds he does tha trade and you obviously love the mets dont just go for mets thats a recipe for disaster.

Get some more offense please!

You need some SB's or you'll get mauled in that category. Don't bother getting a Crawford or Podsednik since you'll overpay right now. Trade for some guys who get 18-25 steals per year.

Also get rid of some relievers. You have 2 solid ones and don't need to scrap for saves. Get rid of Worrell and Aquino, they are useless. Aquino will most likely lose the job and if he doesn't he'll hardly get 20 saves this year on that horrible team.

While he still has some value package him with a good hitter and get some cheap steals and a better OF from some poor guy who needs relievers badly.

Also, Freel as your 2B is risky. He is not likely to repeat last year's performance. He can hurt your average. Pick up some utility players like pedro feliz or omar infante who qualify at a bunch of players and give decent 4 or 5 tool stats.
