two teams have ALL the saves so i stocked up on holds and if dye pans would my OF should be solid even without bonds. oh and this is a keeper league.
I would look for someone else, maybe Jeremy Reed to go on the bench , or even start in place of Dye while you wait for Bonds. Also, what relief pitchers are available? I think you should get someone other than Duaner Sanchez on your team. I'm not sure if he will even be getting any holds now that Gagne is out. There are better options. Other than that, you have a good offense when Bonds gets back. Your three top pitchers with Prior, Johnson, and Pedro are good but below that you are average until Schilling and Gagne return.
What type of league are you in where you have such a huge roster? And how many teams in this league? Can't be too many if you have Randy Johnson, Pedro, Ichiro, Schilling, Gagne, Bonds, and Rolen all on the same team--unless you had a really fortuitous draft last year and just got to keep all these guys.
I don't like Dye that much either (or Freel, for that matter), but it depends who else is available. In the meantime, I would start Sanders over Dye, like someone else said.
I gotta admit, that even with my lack of knowledge, I can see that you've got quite a bit of depth. I think the only thing I can recommend is look for one more big time base stealer, since stolen bases hold just as much weight as say a homeruns and RBI's in your league. Some speedsters like Beltran, Cabrera, or Jimmy Rollins just to name three. You've already got J. Kendall, D. Jeter, and Ichiro so even this is not necissary to say, but something to consider.
its a 13 team keeper league ive made moves each year to get most of my keepers. and with the huge rosters there is really slim pickings on WW hoping to get some good rookies on callups
