Well, it's currently 43 here in upper manhattan (maybe two miles to the stadium as the crow flies), but it feels a bit warmer than that. It's been drizzling on and off all day long, but more off than on- I feel like as long as the groundskeepers got a chance to do some damage control after yesterday's 2+ inches of rain, the field should be wet but certainly playable. I would assume the game is good to go

even though the first game means nothing fantasy wise over the course of the season, it wouldnt hurt to have millar hit 1 out and gordon to strikeout a guy in a perfect inning
I wouldn't mind too much if Damon went 0/5 with 5 Ks vs. the Unit. I like fantasy baseball, but nothing stands in the way of my Sox hatred and need for revenge.
despite my yankee fanhood, the only player i own in my main league is mussina. I have manny in a few yahoo winner's leagues, but its not a big deal. ill just be able to sit back and enjoy the game. cant wait.
In western NY state, it was raining off and on, only sprinkling, but it has since stopped raining for about 2-3 hours. I doubt there will be much rain tonight.
I'm pretty sure it's extremely cold in Alaska. Probably even some snow, too.
Fortunately, the game is being played nowhere near there...
No offense meant...But do you guys have any idea how different the weather is, when you're talking about locations nowhere near Yankee Stadium? We're only a couple of hours away from gametime...What's happenning a hundred miles away really doesn't matter, at all.

Central PA and the Bronx are very far away from eachother.
Unless you've got reasons to believe otherwise, what's happening in one place doesn't usually correlate to what's going to happen in another place. Weather changes pretty easily when it's traveling that far.
