What do you think Jerome Williams will do. I have him on my bench, but am considering dropping him to pick up Lyons since I need another closer and might take a chance on him getting the job.
No dont do that chance that he might get the job Williams is still young and can put up good numbers early last year he was showing sign of brilliance.
I agree with Mrider, Williams is young and has a chance to put up some decent numbers this year. Lyons might not even close on a very average to below average Zona team.
I'd hang on to Williams. In fact, I am hanging on to Williams instead of grabbing Lyon. Seems Aquino has the job for now, so Lyon isn't worth it. Plus, worst case, Jerome should be a good start for home games at Pac Bell.

Rotoworld:
Brandon Lyon, who allowed one run in 13 innings this spring, will open the season as Arizona's closer.
Lyon does have some closing experience with Boston in 2003 and has thrown very well this spring, but he probably won't be all that great this year, leaving open the possibility that Greg Aquino or Jose Valverde could overtake him at some point. In the meantime, expect him to have quite a bit of value.
Thanks Yanks ! I just saw the thread about it. Have to admit it surprises me.
So, forget my last post, and go with this one:
Who else do you have that you can cut?

I actually picked him up by dropping Ayala. I have a waiver claim in for another player that I will place on the DL when I get them tommorrow and then hopefully be able to get Ayala back in the freed up roster spot.
