Let me know what you think - 12 team h2h league $1000 budget - I really rolled the dice with pitchers (injuries)-

each week start -one 1B,2B,SS,3B,3-OF,
DH-any hitting position -ex can start 4 OFs) and 5-SP, 1-RP

Hitter Scoring : 1 pt for a hit, run, sb, bb, hbp, HR, rbi -
ex. SOLO HR is worth 4 pts (hit, run, rbi, hr)

Pitcher Scoring -10 pts a win, -5 a loss, 1 per K, 7 per Save, -7 Blown save

1B: David Ortiz ($80) and Hafner ($90)
2b: Soriano ($110) and Utley ($20)
SS: Rollins ($95) and Bartlett ($5)
3b: Chipper ($80) and Burroughs ($5)
C: Posada ($95) and Barrett ($10)

OF: Dunn ($35), Patterson ($65), T Hunter ($45), Crisp ($15), Byrnes ($5)

SP: Peavy ($55), Escobar ($75), Webb ($15), Lowhry ($10), Robertson ($5), Lilly ($20), Piniero ($15), V Padilla ($10)

RP: BJ Ryan ($20), Mota ($20)

You spent too much money on your infield.

You were bidding too much on position scarcity rather than talent, meaning if you were going to spend that much on Posada, you should have held back and added to the money you budgeted for your outfield.

Ryan was a steal, but Patterson may have been a waste of money.

Next time, you are better off spending a little extra on guys who have a lot more talent that what you have in Hunter and Escobar, and target guys who can really help... and skimp somewhere else when the bargain players roll out because everyone else is out of cash or has already filled that position.
