Worst picks you have seen in your draft....

In the funnest, most competitive league I've been in the last 3 years, these were hands down the biggest shockers I've ever seen.

Roger Clemens: Early 2nd
Scott Podsednik: Last pick of 2nd
Ken Griffey Jr: Late 3rd

I'm talking about legit experts here. We were all taken back 8-o
With the third pick he selected..........Jim Thome!
His 2nd round pick.......Nomar
3rd round....Marcus Giles
4th round......Brad Radke
Call me crazy, but one could do worse than Nomar in the 2nd & Giles in the 3rd.

ditto.

And that is why Beltre is on almost all my teams this year.

In a 10-team keeper league with my friends, one of the guys chose to keep Nomar and Mussina over Carlos Beltran. Needless to say, the guy who picked No. 1 was pleased.

12 team league, one person's draft looked like this

round 1 - chavez
round 2 - mulder
round 3 - hudson
round 4 - zito
round 5 - foulke
round 6 - kendall
round 7 - crosby

homer?

also, in the same league, someone had an autodraft and took bonds in the first round. bold call.

some atlanta homer in my league had one of the worst drafts ever. chipper jones in round one and it only got worse after that--poor guy even managed to miss out on hudson. :D

atlanta is my fave team as well, but I don't have any braves on my roster (thanks to this guy mostly). i'm just trying to win.

I saw someone take Tim Hudson with the # 3 pick. I thought it was ridiculous. O:-)
