I saw your question in the other forum as well...
I have never seen him play since I basically only follow the Pirates. I guess he's been OK in spring. He will be our leadoff man. I don't know if you saw my post in the Leftovers or not, but Tike Redman is going to be batting 3rd for us this year (:-o). He probably won't do a good job in driving Lawton home unless he somehow starts getting a ton of hits. However, if Redman does do decent, McClendon might move Lawton to the 3rd spot and bat Redman 1st. Lawton would then see some more RBI and run possibilities. But at this point, I'd be a little leery of what he will do.
Reed is an unknown, so if you feel lucky, you could try him out. Being between Ichiro, Beltre, and Sexson is probably a good thing, but until you see what he can do, I'd probably go with Lawton.
Since you said you were a Cleveland fan, I would say you know just about as much as we do at this point. If he can hit around 20 homers and steal 20 bases, that would be good for me!
