ligtenberg and justin miller didn't make the roster...which is a good thing... :-o now that billy koch is no longer with the jays...no need for justin miller, right? :-b

pete walker will prolly be the 5th starter in case the jays need someone until lilly returns.

I think they will probably send him back down to Triple A when Lilly comes back, you can't send Rios down..His potential is too great.

Lazyeye, no offence...but before the Mariners got Beltre and Sexson..they weren't too good either. Jamie Moyer is the ace :-o

Very nice. I am so glad that Lightenberg and Koch are gone. Vinnie Chulk makes me nervous and I hope that we don't need to use him as much as last year.

I think that Lilly will be out for a while and I hope that he's not snake bitten this year. Gross should stick around for as long as possible and they should give him some DH time.

So they say that Lilly will be off the DL and make his start this weekend. So does Gross get sent down? Who else could they send down, I think that everyone in the pen is safe, except for maybe Spieir. MacDonald has been very good and the talk of sending Rios down is just stupid. So it looks like it will be Gross. Too bad.

Gross was given 3 games to prove ST wasn't a fluke. Too bad he couldn't do it. It's better that he gets some time in AAA though instead of sitting on the bench in Toronto.

gross will be sent down when lilly is back...but hadn't heard these rumors before....

The Braves are showing interest in acquiring Gabe Gross from the Blue Jays, according to the Toronto Sun.
Kyle Davies shouldn't be available, but the Jays might part with Gross for Brian McCann or Jake Stevens and a second pitching prospect. Gross is probably going to be sent back to Triple-A when Ted Lilly returns Sunday.
