In one league I only have Lopper,Borowski, and Urbina. I would have to drop Ibanez or Lowe to take a chance on Kim, Fuentes, Speier, ect. Its not worth considering.

I don't think anyone is considering it if they have an ALTERNATIVE.

this bafoon is actually recommending that you pick him up.
That is horrible horiible advice.

Kim's arrival in Colorado is good and bad news. Obviously, the chance to close again for any major-league team makes him a worthy pickup, but Coors Field tends to rattle any pitcher's cage, especially one with an already shaky recent history. Grab him if you can, without giving up anyone of consequence, but consider trading him to the first guy who says, "Ooooh, you beat me to him!"

and that was when he was good. :-o

If I recall correctly, Chacon was worse than that last year, but people still held onto him. Saves are saves, and I think it is reasonable to think that Kim could be in the closing mix in Colorado eventually.

Kim is virtually useless. There is a reason why the Red Sux gave up on him. He lost the one thing that made him effective: his velocity.

He may actually learn how to pitch now but I doubt he will ever come close to the way he was in AZ. Complete bust. He'll be lucky to be in the majors by 2006.

He's worth a flyer for the Rox because he basically costs them nothing and if, in the unlikely event, he gets back to where he was, he's far better than anything else they've got. He's definitely not worth it in fantasy as he costs you a waiver slot that could be used on an up-and-comer.

I think Kim will take it and run with it.... He is still very very young and this could be just what the doctor ordered.....
