Two trades were made after the draft. I originally had Hank Blalock, Zach Greinke and Jeff Weaver and traded them for Derrek Lee, Greg Maddux and Matt Clement. I then traded Bobby Abreu, Juan Gonzalez, Miguel Batista and Jarrod Washburn for Coco Crisp, Mark Teixeira, Jeromy Burnitz and Octavio Dotel. Did I save my team or wreck it?? Let me know.

I wouldnt have done it just because you now have three good 1st baseman and abreu would have been much more useful in the OF than mourneau on the bench, not a bad team, how many terams in the league?

I dont know. I'm a big believer of both Blaylock and Greinke, and clement, well his skill is up for argument, but i dont like him anymore since he left the cubs.

Matt Clement will be throwing this season to either Barrett or Blanco indefinitely when the season starts. As everyone remembers, Maddux chose to throw to former Cubs catcher Paul Bako. Maddux might be affected by that. Getting Coco Crisp was a good idea, as well as Teixeira. And dont be worried by Teixeira's spring numbers, he'll do fine this season.

I dont know whether or not you helped or hurt yourself. It seems balenced concerning the players moved.

I personally think you wrecked it. First of all, the first trade you did u kinda killed urself, i like blalock, greinke and weaver even more. and u traded them for some sub par guys. The second trade you destroyed yourself, abreu is a mini beltran, a 5 cat stud, ya u got teixiera but really u dont need power numbers, u have 0 speed on that team. Dotel is a good addition of k's, but batista has a great save percentage, and if he can actually hold onto the job, may be able to hold onto some saves. Dotel blows a lot and Street could be in as soon as mid April.

I am close to doing the following deal:

Octavio Dotel / Derrek Lee / Coco Crisp

FOR

Danny Kolb / Juan Pierre

This way I get some SB's and AVG that I lost in trading away Abreu.... Also, because Morneau is on my bench, I dont need Lee that much because I can just start Morneau now, who will get equal numbers.

What do you guys thinks, knowing my situation
