Well he won't be starting once Frank Thomas comes back, so he won't have value for to long. But for the moment he is probably a better choice then the others you listed.

I just picked him up. My choice is whether to start Carl Everett or Griffey? Not as easy of choice as I wish it was.

Actually, if Griffey's healthy...it's a no brainer.

He is having a monster spring. I am having big second thoughts; dropped him to get Kazmir off waivers since my SP was a little weak. Am seriously considering picking him up again, just while the Big Hurt is out.

Probably would have to let a decent player like Tino Martinez go, but I think Everett has more potential, since I'm pretty solid at 1B with Thome.

Ive heard arguments suggesting Carl Everett is one of the biggest sleepers going right now. Im not saying I agree, but the case can certainly be made that until FT returns from injury he might actually be a starter in mixed league formats.

If you are in need of a wuick fix OF until Berkman or Bonds returns, he could be a real nice option.

Park affect is a major contribution to Everett's value.

I just picked him up in a fairly deep (draft was 400 deep) 14 team league and dropped Mr. Juan Gone. I'm already getting bitten by the injury bug with Bonds, hopefully Everett will be a nice stopgap. I can't complain, as he should be adequate for the time being.
