What do you guys think about Mike Lamb this year? In 278 AB's last year, he hit 14 HR's with 58 RBI at a .288 clip. Will he get more AB's this year? What do you see for him in 2005?

I love the guy. He has a swing made for his home field and could hit 25-30 hrs in 400 ab's. As we know though, the Astros lineup is still very murky and there is like 5 position battles going on, which hurts everyone's value. I will pick up Lamb and stash him away on my bench until the smoke clears and we get some indication of regular AB's.

YA he's gotta hope Ensberg sucks again (not impossible) or Bagwell get s hurt. But even if Bagwell get hurt, that may be Biggio's spot. Unless he's improved his D in the offseason.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him traded if the Astros go after a legit OF midseason.

I don't see him getting the at bats. Ensberg will be the guy there unless he shows that he's truly as bad as he was last year. I don't think he is that bad.
