I trying to trade Richard Hildalgo for one of these pitchers who is going to have the better year? Any number projections?
I know a lot of people are hot on Thomson because of his split numbers did his K/9 increase as well or is he not much of a K pitcher?

I like both these guys for 05. I can'timagine someone trading you either of them for Hidalgo.

A third tier starter for a third tier outfielder, see a need fill a need, some teams in my league have more pitching than power.
Hildalgo should have a very good year in Texas hitting 5th in that lineup?
John Thomson is a bit of a sleeper IMO, he is definitely under the radar as far as value goes. I feel the same holds true for Maddux.
I have the possibility of picking up Kazmir in the same league for Hildalgo...

Well if you can get either of them for Hidalgo, do it. I'd prefer Thomson. If you can't get one of thsoe two, Woody Williams is right around the same level but people probably don't care much about him.

C'mon, over 2 seasons he could at least get 200 K's

I prefer thomson over maddux, i think he's do for his best year yet
that said, i love the rangers and have hildago on a handful of teams -- he's not a num 3 OF in any of them. I wouldnt trade either of those pitchers for him
