1 full season out of 7? I see him never reaching his potential and getting himself hurt again

His injuries have all been the 'freak' kind, not persistant ones. Things like running into the wall, etc. I don't think his health is a huge concern, a concern but its not a huge one.
Last year he was coming off of an injury and did not find his power stroke early in the year. In the second half in 73 games he hit .281 with 15 HR's so I don't think its unreasonable to hope for a 280ish avg and 30-32 HR's from him. Especially with the improved brewer lineup.

If he's healthy, he's Carlos Lee with a lower BA. Very under-rated IMO.

I'd say somewhere in between Travis Lee and Carlos Lee. .265, 25 HR, and you can count his SB's on one hand with enough fingers left over to make a peace sign. And that's if he stays healthy. Not the type I care for on my team.

.265 BA? You sure about that? He's a career .279 hitter. And I don't see people knocking Pujols or Thome for lack of SB's. Not that he's at their level, but he's a pretty good hitter. Jenkins is the kind of guy that gets no respect but will put up solid numbers when healthy. I'm not saying he will be healthy... but I'm saying he'll be very good and worth a lot more than you pay for him if he is.

Hey, you could well be right about Jenkins. But I projected him at .265 and I think his best days are behind him. Sure won't be the first time I screwed up if he goes out and has a big year. I just don't see it, LB.
