It's now apparent that this guy is going to be starting at CF for the Devil Rays. He is lightnig fast and he wont get you more than 10 HR and 60 RBIs, but he easily could steal 35-40 bags this year. He hits for a decent average as well in the .285 to .300 range. He seems like to me his defintely worth the risk if you need steals.

He's far from worthless in fantasy as long as he's playing, which may only be until the all star break or so, but in that time he could easily steal you 20-30 bases with a good average. Not a bad guy to throw in ur lineup if ur desperate for speed.

Desperate is the operative word. Sanchez blows. He is Juan Pierre without the OBP/avg/runs or the glove. Strictly an SB specialist and one of the WORST defensive players in the game. He is so bad in the OF that the team that had Cedeno roam CF cut Sanchez loose. I do not understand TB as they will not play the kid Gathright supposedly for being a hack with no displine at the plate and a lousy glove...so they go out and sign someone with the same problems who has no upside. Obviously something personal is going on there, but I suspect Pineilla will grow frustrated with Sanchez quickly and he will be ot of a job.

Your wrong!
Honestly I hope your right and Gathright does play, but I think Sanchez will have the job till Rocco is back.

Very true. This guy is the Shaq of SBs. He gets a lot of them (Free Throws/SB) but makes (steals safely) an atrocious amount of them.
