I will almost always go for the best player. If I have 2 1B, I generally won't take a 3rd but I specifically was after Wilkerson in the 13thish There is almost always a guy farther down who's likely to pick up decent numbers at any spot. Targeting the last or second to the last player in a 'tier' is a better way to go, in my opinion.
Not at all, apart from the first two rounds. I do it on where the biggest dropoff is. No point in taking the slightly better player in the middle of a plateau over the slightly worse one on the edge of a cliff imo.
