Starters:
J. Schmidt
L. Hernandez
G. Maddux
J. Thomson
J. Lieber
M. Mussina
Reserves:
D. Davis
J. Westbrook
S. Kazmir
T. Lilly
I'm thinking of dropping Westbrook and possibly Davis. Westbrook just got shelled today. Batters were hitting .324 off him. Haven't heard anything about Davis, but he's only pitched 12 innings, has a high era and high ba.
Here are the options.
P. Byrd- Added a sinker, should have lower whip than Westbrook about the same k's
C. Capuano- Having a great spring
D. Bush- lots of potential, playing in the wrong division
G. Floyd-lots of upside, but I already have Kazmir
A. Harang-Having a great spring, probably get lots of k's with high era and whip.
B. Halsey- Don't know much about him.
R. Bell-Having great spring, once again wrong division
I'm leaning toward Byrd and Harang.
What do you think?
Thanks
J. Schmidt
M. Mussina
L. Hernandez
G. Maddux
J. Thomson
Thats not a bad starting five. I would trade Leiber while he still has value. I would take a bag of balls if that was the best offer, but somebody will take him. You won't catch him on any of my teams this year. Of all the guys on your list, I like Cap.

i think leiber is gonna do fine. He is going from one of the hardest divisions in the AL to the nl.
I'd be more than happy to have Lieber on my team. He doesn't walk anybody which makes up for the lack of K's. He'll allow his share of HR's in Philly but he's always been a solid SP that has improved his control every year. His last 2 seasons in the NL he had ERA's of 3.80 and 3.70. Last season, coming off of TJ surgery, when most pitchers have worse control, he had better control. He'll be fine.
Of all the guys you listed I'd drop Kazmir or Westbrook and get Bush. Your top 6 with the exception of Maddux are solid so I don't think you need to worry about SP's too much. Maybe you can deal Maddux to somebody who's into the whole "He's magic man, he'll always get 15 wins" thing. He won't help fantasy teams much at all. A little WHIP help but other than that he'll probably hurt your team.
