Cuddyer vs K. Matsui

Postby rlee » Wed Mar 30, 2005 6:36 pm

What do you think of each of these players as your regular 2B?

I drafted Matsui as my SS, traded for M. Young.

I also drafted Kent, but have gotten concerned about his career performance at Dodger Stadium. Had the opportunity to trade him for T. Hudson.

Am I OK with Matsui and Cuddyer to be my 2B? Which do you think will turn in better numbers?

Kaz is a borderline starter in a 12-team league and Cuddyer is a borderline bench player.

I really like Kaz this year. I think he will finally settle in here in the States and start to be closer to the player he was in Japan, much like Hideki did in his second year. ;-D Depending on where he hits in the lineup I wouldn't be surprised by 85/15/70/20/.285 those may be a little ambitious, but I don't think the Mets offense will be what keeps them from going places this year.
