i would have to say his value goes up...for several reasons...
he is in a better hitters park
he is surrronded by berkman as well as bagwell. (not just one-bonds)
he is closer to home (make him happier?)
the only thing i think will hurt him is the new position. its gotta be tough learning a new position and that might take away from his game. but he is a hard worker so who knows.
i love the deal! now if reynolds is healthy the stros have a decent shot!

Actually there is no position change, except for craig biggio...
I think his value goes way down to be honest. the only stats I see improving is his HR total. Yes he does have bags/berkman, but not as protection as he did with bonds. Living in the bay area, i know a lot of people thought he was done before dusty put him in front of Bonds...he will not be the #3 hitter on the Astros.
As a Giant fan, I thank him for his MVP season and don't thank him for causing turmoil that the national media (i think) blamed on Bonds. Also, his horrible job in the first two rounds of the playoffs almost cost us a shot at the WS. I'm glad the Astros took him.
Zack Greinke...the next Greg Maddux. LOOK IT UP!
For what it's worth.
