Bench Sanchez, Alex (OF)
Bench Eckstein, David (SS,2B/SS)

this was a 12 team, 5x5 roto, list (auto) draft, and apparantly my rankings didn't favor pitchers enough. I already traded Sean Green for Mark Buehrle (good trade?). So I was wondering if I needed to make any trades now, or not? Thanks, and post a link to yours if you want :-)

Without knowing what the rest of the league looks like I'd say probably not. You'd really need everything to fall into place and guys to overachieve in order to be competitive in most of the pitching categories. :-/

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

thats what i was thinking... I've been trying to trade with a guy who has santana, oswalt, hudson, prior, and radke, but he doesnt budge. Is a trade like Huff for Hudson or Oswalt a fair trade? He doesn't seem to think so, but I may be wrong in thinking it is fair. Thanks :-)

Yes it's fair. They're all pretty close in value and they all go somewhere around the 3rd. Maybe he's waiting to see whether or not Prior is going to start the season on the DL. I think he pitches a minor league game Saturday. Has he made any counter offers or is he totally disinterested in trading Oz?

He hasn't made any counter offers, and it takes him about 5 days to respond to my offers. Maybe he likes hudson and oswalt, but he needs hitters just as bad as I need pitchers so I'd be surprised if he never tries to make a deal.
