10 team 5x5 roto

C A. Pierzynski M. Lieberthal
1B J. Thome
2B C. Figgins
3B A. Ramirez
SS K. Matsui
OF M. Ramirez C. Crawford H. Matsui G. Anderson L. Gonzalez (ARI)
U J. Vidro J. Lane
SP P. Martinez R. Halladay A. Burnett Z. Greinke J. Vazquez
RP T. Hoffman G. Aquino D. Baez S. Takatsu

There are no bench slots, in case anyone is wondering. I hate having a 2B at my util spot, but he was the best available hitter and nobody is willing to trade for him or Figgins.

I already know that I'm weak in wins. Besides that, what can I do to upgrade and where else am I weak?

What's the free agency list of catchers look like?

Catchers is a tricky catagory to get someone in. Is John Buck available? This kid hit 12 homers in about 200 at bats last year. He'll hit at least double that this year.

You are a little weak in wins, but i dont think that you are as much as you probably think you are.

A few guys to look for in pitching: Wil Ledezma from the Tigers. He wasn't picked up in a lot of leagues. He's young (21), and he's getting the 5th spot on the Tigers rotation.

Also David Bush of the Blue Jays. The talk in toronto is this is the next Roy Halladay (when he won the Cy Young).

Thanks for your reply ;-D

No, Buck is not available. Since we start two catchers, the FA Cs aren't very good. LaRue (Stl), Schneider (Was), Hall (TB), Olivo (Sea), Molina (Stl), Barajas (Tex), Ausmus (Hou) are available, but I really doubt any of them will be as good as Pierzynski or Lieberthal. Rest of the guys I've never even heard of, so I'm not getting them. :-/

Ledezma and Bush are both available, and I'll be sure to keep an eye on both of them, especially Bush. Thanks for the tip ;-D

Anyone else?

Nice draft. You need to get another solid pitcher. Halladay and especially Pedro have had injury problems in the past. Pedro will be lucky to throw 180 innings I believe. Good job on some of the fringe cats like SBs and saves. Package one of your closers with a bat to get some pitching.

While I'm thinking of it, get rid of Acquino while he has some value as a closer b/c there's a decent chance he won't be the closer all season. The other closers are solid. Don't let go of Takatsu.

Aquino doesn't have much value right now in this league. I picked him up in the 21st round.

All of my SPs are question marks I think, but I think all of them should be quite good. I added Pineiro (another injury guy :-b) and I'll see if I can pull off a trade, but I'm not too worried if I can't.

Thanks for your input.
