Anyone have an idea? I'm considering him for 3B and moving ARam to DH to increase power. Is he viable at 3B as a starter in a 14 team league? What do you see him doing and where is he batting in the order?

Thanks!

How do you rate a bulging disk? He could be fine and hit 30-35 hr and 90-95 rbi or miss 1/2 the season> if I can get him cheap i will, but I won't put myself in a position where he can ruin my year

I think that's the attitude you have to take at this point. Although I would bank on the latter and hope for the former -- meaning don't get stuck with him as your only viable option for '05.

I think he's en route to the Minors, there was a story in the Chicago Tribune to that effect this AM. I'd hang on to ARam if I were you!!

"The Angels assigned McPherson and right-hander Chris Bootcheck to their minor league camp Wednesday, leaving the third base assignment to Robb Quinlan when they open the season next week. "
