Would Kelvim Escobar for G. Mota be a good trade?

I'm the one who has Escobar. I need saves badly. I'm not sure what you mean, as to who would get the better deal.

The Rockies just put Tsao on the DL and while they will use the good lod "closer by committee", Brian Fuentes may be a good temporary pick up and you can at least get a few saves out of him.

There is a way actually a good chance because when they were picking closers ur picking the net best. Just pick up like Speir or something and accept the right trade when it comes along.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. It's still the beginning of the season you'll be able to pickup enough wire fodder to finish in the middle of the pack in saves. Just stay active and read the cafe for injuries, replacements, trades and guys winning their cbc situations. If you get lucky you might finish in the top 3~4. If the rest of your roster pulls through you should have a good season.

No. Generally to win in a semi-competitive 12 team league you need to place 3rd or better in every category. If you reach 100, 105 total points you are likely to win. Punting saves automatically gives you a 1 in that category and you would have to dominate everything else. With your roster I don't see that happening. Not that you have a bad team, but you are just unlikely to dominate the hitting categories by that wide a margin.
I agree with some other posters, you need to trade some starting pitching for saves.
Escobar is a good sleeper pitcher on your team and I would keep him. You might want to try and trade Mulder for a front line closer as his name recognition is greater.
I think Billy Wagner is undervalued this year. I would try and target him, but Mulder would be too high a price to get him.
