The last true Royals ace has decided to retire. A key part to one of my favorite Royals rotations of all time. Appier, Cone, Gubicza, and Gordon with Montgomery closing games out. Thanks for the memories Ape. ;-D

Like the Expos, We too suffered from the strike of 94!

I am glad that Appier's best years came in KC!
