I dumped Bonds the first week of the season and picked up Pat Burrell because I didn't think Bonds was worthy of a DL slot. Looks like a good idea now with Harden in my DL slot. Burrell .313 10 43 19 0 Bonds .000 0 0 0 0

I have Bonds in a few of my leagues, although there mostly in private leagues w/ more than one DL spot.... In your position though, I still don't if I make the move to drop him.. Not sure if your league was roto or h2h, but if its h2h then there's no way I would drop him, I would have just focused on getting my team into the playoffs and having the big payoff w/ Bonds healthy for the playoff run.

I drafted Bonds as well and dumped him myself to free up a DL spot. I just don't see him coming back before the AS break, and even if he does he won't be the Bonds/God he was the past few seasons. I held on to him until I heard Alou comment that he'll probably be a DH when he gets back, and that's no good at all for fantasy fans.

Giants DHs get about zero ABs after the break. Maybe people are holding him for his 10-15 pinch hit appearances. He wasn't worth my only DL slot 10 weeks ago. I said in April that it looked like less than 50/50 he would play again this year.

I was pretty surprised to find out I'd started this thread, since I don't remember doing it. Then I noticed it was from March.

In case anybody was worrying about me, I still have Bonds on the DL, I've made some roster moves and currently am in first place by a hair. By this point, I might as well hang onto him. He might not be the Bonds of old, but I can almost guarantee he'll be better than freakin Hafner.
