Help me with my roster - suggestions for a beginner?

only seven guys in league so i guess every team is stacked..this is what i got..any suggestions on how to play these guys? Who should i start first week, please help, this is my first time. also what do i need to do to beat the other teams that also have a ton of good players...thanks for your help.

Nice power in the lineup. Don't see the need for having bagwell though.

This is how I would do your lineup

C Pudge
1B Delgado
2B Kent
SS Jeter
3B Rolen
OF Matsui
OF Sheff
OF Drew
Util Berkman/Bonds/Utley Depends on how many util spots, and when these guys come back of course

You are going to need some speed, try and swing bagwell and loduca for some bases.

The pitching IMO is subpar for such a small league.

Oswalt is great, but moose and vazquez are far from certainties, wouldn't want to deal with the risk, clement is not too special either, good wins, high era. Try and swing those guys around for a better SP. Benitiez and Mariano will hold you down in saves nicely.

i'd drop utley/bagwell and pick up the best FA SP available, as your starting pitching is weak for a 7 team league.

these are guys available, my roster is posted ealier, who should i add drop, why, trying to learn,...thank you for your help....league has seven teams
availabe: T. Hafner, P. konerko, D roberts, P Nevin, T Womack, J Uribe, J Guillen, M Lawton, R Winn, R Sanders, L Ford...then pitchers are F Cordero, G Mota, E Guardardo, B Looper, T Prevical, S Takatsu, B Ryan, C Cordero, G Maddux, M Buerhle
