We finally got done drafting today! Tell me what you think, Cafe. I will be sure to rate others.
I like your outfield, I couldn't be more high on Crawford, I'd worry about Sexton staying healthy, and I wouldn't count on a ton of Wins. Overall I like your chances.
good overall team. If I were you, I would hold onto both pods and crawford for a while, build up a big lead in SBs and then trade one of them for a 2B or another position you are weak in when the time comes. You might be hurting a little in teh power cats but if Mench and Mcherson pan out (i think they will, i have both too, lol), then you should be in good shape.
I second the motion for trading speed for power . . . and it also looks like you could use a little help with batting average, maybe even focus on trading for BA if you're confident that Mench or Mcpherson can come through with power. Trade Podsednik, his OPS will hurt you more than his steals will help. There's gotta be a manger who could use him though.
If this is a HTH league, the suggestion that you should build a big lead in steals before trading, makes no sense.
I like your pitching a lot. Otsuka is great b/c he's guaranteed to be either a stud in holds or saves, either way you win.
If you want to reciprocate, my roster-post is about halfway down the page . . .
I agree with the statement on SBs. I think in a H2H you might want to get value for pods. Maybe go a couple weeks in and trade him to someone struggling for wins for a 20-20 type OF or a SP, as W and K might be hard to come by. You are in a position to deal from strengths when teams begin to flounder.
Hmmm... your power is a question mark, with both Sexson and Maggs coming back from injuries. However, I really like both of them this year and think you should be fine. With that in mind, you should look into shoring up your starting pitching, I'm not too high on Lackey or Wolf, and Kazmir won't get you many wins. Wait until the second week of the season or so and package Pods and one of your SPs for a quality starter.
