You need both power and speed on your team. You have a lot of good players, but the lack of power at C, 1B, and 2B hurts. Also, you have only 1 real SB threat, and ahother who will give you about 15. Think about trading a starter for some offense.

You can fix some of your power shortage with your own roster. Sit Byrnes down and put in either Feliz or D. Young. They will both hit more HR and have more RBI than Byrnes. I think you get 40-50 steals from Castillo and Jeter, maybe some more from the other guys, but definitely not enough. You also need an upgrade at RP. Mesa is a time bomb - will it be this year or next - and Looper is not the most reliable guy. I would do it in this order:

1 - sit Byrnes and pick the substitution
2 - offer a SP for somebody with some speed/power
3 - throw Castilla under the bus (a temporary move might be to cut him and pick up Taveras from Houston if he's available. He should be good for 25 SB if he gets 350-400 AB. He will start at the beginning of the season but when Berkman comes back, there is an issue. At least that will buy you some time and get you some SB).
4 - See what's on the WW for RP or guys that are next in line to the ones that won't last (Batista in TOR or <believe it or not> Kolb in ATL). I think Kolb is toast in 2 months.
