I don't know if Lowe has a better defense behind him in LA.
He has Izturis I'll give him that, but BoSox had Reese last year who is no slouch. Kent and Valentin are awful. I dunno about Choi, I think he is a solid defender.

Kent was actually very good at fielding ground balls last year. Better than Alex Cora. He might be moving to 1B though. And Valentin isn't a bad SS but at 3B his range won't help him much while his bad hands will hurt him. The infield defense doesn't worry me with LA. But Lowe has to be perfect with his location to be effective, and LA isn't a great pitchers park. Balls fly out of that park more than they do in Boston, and they're shrinking the foul ground.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

Did you read the article, or are you just disagreeing with it?
Anyways, D Lowe doesn't really help you with anything but ERA and some W's worth the risk in Roto, bad for H2H though.
I like Lowe this year in Dodger Stadium. He'll step up and I can see him coming closer to his 2002 totals rather than his last year totals (not 21 wins, though).

Westbrook is the real sleeper on that team IMHO. he only had the 3rd best ERA on the AL last year, and he's getting drafted like...umm, Derek Lowe. ST line:
J Westbrook 1 0 3.21 14.0
ST super sleeper:
G Meche 2 0 1.98 13.2
Pacman, if people don't look up Thomson's splits last year on their own...hehe.
